The ability to smell is a truly incredible gift that should be enjoyed. Variations in odors and ability to smell are endless and each experience conjures emotions (feelings) unique to each individual. Some of the most pleasant memories are instantly restored by a simple odor. Appetites increase dramatically when you smell freshly baked bread. Light floral scent promotes relaxation and selected fragrances help with aches and pains. Special occasions are enhanced with a carefully selected aroma. All this lead us to catalytic lamps.

We tried everything including candles, plug-ins, incense, room sprays etc. The overall best solution we found was the catalytic lamps. The purity of the aroma was the big factor but the enormous variety of aromas and the air quality improvements were important also. With medical (Med-Tech) and engineering (NASA) backgrounds in the family, we did a lot research and testing and began to manufacture the fragrance fuels for family and friends. As the demand grew, we developed better and better sources for raw materials and began to buy in much larger quantities. Every test we conducted indicated our fragrance fuels meet or exceeded the quality of other sources so the business was born. The name "Janabelle" came by combining our daughter "Janet" and our granddaughter "Isabelle".
