| Product Safety |
Our products include glass items and alcohol. It is your responsibility to practice safety when handling, operating or storing these products. Care should be taken to avoid breaking the glass or spilling the fuel.
Storage: Products should be stored out of reach of children. Maximum shelf life can be obtained by storing in a cool location (approximately room temperature). Do not allow to freeze.
Lighting Burner: Lamps must be placed on secure fixture, away from children and flammable products. Normally a range or stove top can be used safely for this purpose.
Operating lamp: Lamp should be located out of reach of children or pets to avoid tip-over.
Spills: Unless the spill occurs during the warm up operation (open flame), a spill should not be a fire hazard. Should this occur, a chemical fire suppressor (alternatively, use flour) can be used to extinguish the blaze. Spill should be cleaned up with absorbing material such as paper towels, sponge etc. Contact with skin should be removed using warm soapy water.
